Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Senior Workday Consultant to act as a trusted advisor, leading the design, implementation, and optimisation of Workday solutions across key HR processes.

The successful candidate will take ownership of complex functional and technical topics, guide junior consultants, and drive continuous improvements within Workday environments.

The role will involve close collaboration with stakeholders, leading workshops, and ensuring high-quality delivery across all project stages.

What you will do

  • Provide guidance on the Workday platform and lead key implementation and enhancement initiatives.
  • Prepare, lead, and facilitate advanced workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Configure, test, validate, and document Workday solutions across multiple functional areas.
  • Analyse client HR processes, propose optimisation strategies, and design scalable Workday improvements.
  • Conduct training sessions for end users and internal teams, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical and functional issues in collaboration with the wider team.
  • Mentor junior consultants, support their development, and review their work.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and changes through Service Now or other ITIL-aligned service management platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders throughout project stages to ensure high-quality Workday delivery.
  • Support service coverage between 07:00 and 19:00 Monday through Friday through agreed team shift arrangements.
  • Participate in shared on-call support for P1 incidents when required.
