We are Signature Aviation, a global provider of VIP hospitality and aviation services to business and private aircraft customers. Our guests land their aircraft with us, and we do everything we can to deliver truly exceptional hospitality, which aims to exceed all expectations and offer a 5-star experience. Our worldwide network of FBOs provide specialist on-airport support services including refueling, hangarage, maintenance and ground handling, to the owners and operators of private, business, military, and commercial aircraft.
The Luton General Manager (GM) role is a critical role in our business, responsible for managing all aspects of the Luton FBO business and ensuring the highest levels of safety, hospitality, operational and financial performance. The Luton GM takes responsibility for leadership and engagement of the teams, inspiring high-performing teams and implementing people and operational strategies within and across the Luton FBO. As Luton GM, you will be responsible for promoting the Signature brand, highlighting new initiatives and raising the standards of service to deliver consistent, exceptional customer experience.
A key part of your role as Luton GM will be to collaborate and partner with specialist functions including Finance on budgets and P&L management and HR on HR strategy, succession planning, team member engagement and development, people management to name but a few.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in successfully leading a business or operation, with evidence of working proactively to identify and pursue opportunities to grow the business in line with strategic aims and to deliver on KPIs. You will also have experience of using data and market knowledge for decision making and maximising on opportunities. Finally, you must have a checkable five-year employment history. The role requires flexibility in terms of working time with some international travel.
