NexGen Cloud is the company behind Hyperstack, a full-stack AI cloud serving tens of thousands of customers from AI researchers to enterprises running the world's most compute-intensive workloads. We deliver on-demand and private GPU infrastructure to teams who treat performance as a requirement, not a feature. We're a tight-knit, fast-moving team working at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure.
This role exists because NexGen's content needs have outgrown a single-person function: as we scale across GPU cloud and AI infrastructure, we need someone to own the strategy, raise the editorial bar, and build the team behind it. You'll have direct ownership over our content strategy and calendar, editorial standards and brand voice, and the development of our Content Manager. This is a role for someone who enjoys senior ownership β setting direction, managing a direct report, and being accountable for how NexGen shows up in every piece of content we publish.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own NexGen's content strategy and editorial calendar across channels, ensuring every piece ladders up to marketing and commercial priorities.
- Set and uphold editorial standards, brand voice and technical accuracy across everything we publish.
- Manage and develop our Content Manager, building their editorial and technical judgement through regular review and feedback.
- Lead production of flagship content β long-form technical pieces, case studies and thought leadership β working closely with Product and Engineering to get the detail right.
- Partner with Sales and Demand Generation to align content with pipeline priorities, campaigns and SEO.
- Brief and quality-check freelancers and agencies on larger or specialist projects.
- Own our editorial governance β tone of voice, style guide and approval process β keeping it current as we scale.
About You
Weβre more interested in how you think and work than in a perfect CV. Youβll likely bring a combination of the following:
- Essential: 5+ yearsβ experience in content, copywriting or content marketing, including in tech, cloud or SaaS.
- Proven experience managing or mentoring at least one direct report or junior contributor.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with strong command of brand voice and technical accuracy.
- Track record of owning a content strategy and calendar, not just executing against one.
- Strong working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and content performance measurement.
- Experience managing freelancers, agencies or external creative partners.
Nice to Have:
- Experience writing for the GPU cloud / AI infrastructure space or a comparable deep-tech sector.
- Experience with a CMS (e.g. WordPress, Webflow) and marketing automation/CRM (e.g. HubSpot).
- Experience producing content for developer or highly technical audiences.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary and annual discretionary bonus scheme.
- Private Medical Insurance.
- Employee wellbeing benefits.
- 25 days of holiday, plus public holidays.
- Flexible working arrangements (remote or hybrid, depending on role and location).
- Real ownership and autonomy, with the trust to take initiative and experiment.
- The opportunity to make a visible, meaningful impact as we scale.
- Clear career progression and growth opportunities in a fast-growing company.
- A collaborative, international culture built on trust, transparency, and ownership.
- The chance to help shape NexGen Cloud's team, culture, and future alongside ambitious, mission-driven colleagues.
