Meet the team behind this journey

Deep L runs product-led growth alongside our sales-led motion, with media translation as the strategic wedge.

This role is responsible for turning Deep L into the default platform for translation worldwide driving adoption through product usage, and converting that usage into strong Product Qualified Leads (PQLs) tha convert into revenues and strengthen our sales pipeline.

This role drives adoption of our core Deep L Translate features (e. g.

Customization Hub, TQE) and cross-sell into adjacent products like Deep L Voice.

You will start with a focus on Media Translation.

Your

Mission: Put Deep L Translate in the hands of everyone, everywhere and use that reach to grow adoption across Deep L's broader product surface, turning usage into a reliable, high-quality source of PQLs for the business.

  • Your responsibilities
  • Use case strategy: prioritize the highest-value use cases for media translation, and and build the growth loops and product surface to drive adoption of them.
  • Distribution on the Deep L platform (main channel): drive media translation adoption directly within web, browser extension, and apps. Work closely with the API/MCP track.
  • PLG/PQL engine: define what qualifies as a strong PQL for media translation (usage signals, account characteristics, intent signals) , build the instrumentation to detect it, and design a clean handoff into sales.
  • Growth plays for feature/product discovery: design and run growth loops that help users discover and adopt more features and products beyond their initial media translation use case, expanding usage depth and breadth.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Close collaboration with the Marketing team on funnel design, messaging, and PQL feedback loop.
  • Coordination with Sales/Sales Ops on PQL definition and handoff.
  • Iterate with Pricing & Packaging team on P&P strategy and optoimization
  • Metrics ownership: define and report on leading indicators (platform usage, feature adoption, cross-sell conversion, open-source adoption), and rigorously attribute product usage and these metrics to business outcomes (pipeline, revenue, retention) not just track activity, but prove and quantify its impact.
  • Qualities we look for
  • A builder, first and foremost someone who can build with AI, prototype fast, test with real users, and scale what works.

This is a hands-on role, not a strategy-only one.

Track record building or scaling a PLG motion that feeds a sales organization ideally with direct experience owning PQL definition and handoff.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management this role sits at the intersection of Product, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering, and needs to align each of them without owning their roadmaps.
  • Experience growing adoption within a core consumer/prosumer product (web, extension, or app), not just developer-facing surfaces.
  • Experience designing growth loops for feature/product discovery and expansion, not just top-of-funnel acquisition.
  • Experience with open-source community strategy has shipped or grown an OSS project, ideally in ML/AI.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid PLG + SLG model and operating cross-functionally with teams whose roadmaps this role doesn't own.
