Meet DeepL. DeepL is a global AI product and research company focused on building secure, intelligent solutions to complex business problems. Over 200,000 business customers and millions of individuals across 228 global markets today trust DeepL's Language AI platform for human-like translation, improved writing and real-time voice translation. Founded in 2017 by CEO Jaroslaw “Jarek” Kutylowski, DeepL now has around 1,000 passionate employees and is supported by world-renowned investors including Benchmark, IVP, and Index Ventures. Our goal is to become the global leader in trusted, intelligent AI technology, building products that drive better communication, foster connections, and create a meaningful impact. To achieve this, we need talented people like you to join our journey.

What sets us apart is our blend of cutting-edge AI technology, meaningful work, and a culture where people truly thrive. We’re a team of innovators, researchers, and creators driven by a shared purpose to unlock human potential by making work simpler, smarter, and more connected. When we share what it’s like to work at DeepL, the reactions are overwhelmingly positive. This might be because of our technology that helps millions of people and businesses communicate and work better every day, or because of the trust, curiosity, and care that shape our culture. What we know for sure is this: being part of DeepL means joining a team dedicated to innovation, growth, and well-being.

DeepL is at an inflection point in its growth, and this is a rare opportunity to shape how the world's most accurate AI translation company engages enterprise customers, creates pipeline and scales through partners globally. As Director of Global Field & Partner Marketing, you will own two tightly integrated functions: a global field and events programme spanning owned, third-party and executive formats, and a partner marketing capability that activates DeepL's growing ecosystem of channel, technology and integration partners. You will lead a distributed team of regional field marketers and partner marketers across EMEA, APJ (dotted line) and North America, unifying them under a single commercial strategy that is directly accountable to pipeline creation, deal acceleration, adoption and expansion revenue. This role reports directly to the VP of Demand Generation and sits at the heart of DeepL's go-to-market motion.

Your responsibilities

  • GLOBAL FIELD MARKETING & EVENTS: Own and scale DeepL's global field marketing programme across owned events, third-party conference activations, executive engagement formats and digital programmes - driving net new pipeline, deal acceleration and product adoption across mid-market and enterprise segments.
  • Define and manage the global field marketing strategy, ensuring programme investment is allocated to the highest-return formats and markets and adjusted in response to pipeline signals and sales priorities.
  • Lead the evolution of DeepL's flagship owned programme portfolio scaling them across new cities and regions while maintaining quality, commercial rigour and local relevance.
  • Build and scale an executive engagement capability in close partnership with Sales and Customer Success, creating access to senior decision-makers within priority accounts through intimate, high-value formats.
  • Partner with Sales, SDR, Revenue Intelligence and Marketing Ops to establish rigorous measurement frameworks covering pipeline sourced, pipeline influenced, speed-to-lead and closed-won attribution - and use these insights to drive continuous programme optimisation.
  • Champion a culture of commercial accountability: every programme format is evaluated against pipeline outcomes, and investment decisions are made on evidence, not habit.
  • PARTNER MARKETING: Lead DeepL's partner marketing function, developing and executing co-marketing strategies with channel partners, technology partners, GSIs, ISVs and integration partners that generate measurable pipeline and expand DeepL's market reach.
  • Build scalable co-marketing frameworks - including joint event programmes, partner-led demand generation, marketplace activations and partner enablement content - that allow partners to market DeepL effectively within their own networks and customer bases.
  • Own partner-attached pipeline targets and contribution to ARR, ensuring partner marketing programmes are designed to drive measurable commercial outcomes rather than activity metrics.
  • Partner closely with the Partnerships, Sales, Product Marketing and Creative Studio teams to develop partner-specific messaging, assets and campaign frameworks that reflect DeepL's positioning while enabling partner customisation.
  • Develop and manage the partner marketing calendar globally, with clear accountability for joint pipeline targets, co-investment frameworks and performance reporting.
  • Continuously evolve the partner marketing operating model to support DeepL's growing partner ecosystem, including emerging opportunities with hyperscalers, marketplace listings and developer community programmes.
  • LEADERSHIP & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION: Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing, globally distributed team of field marketers and partner marketers, fostering a culture of commercial accountability, creativity and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the key marketing partner to Sales, SDR, Customer Success, Product Marketing and Partnerships leadership - aligning field and partner activity directly to pipeline targets, territory plans and revenue objectives.
  • Represent field and partner marketing at senior leadership level, clearly articulating strategy, programme performance, investment rationale and regional market insights.
  • Build and maintain strong operating cadences with Sales leadership across all regions, ensuring tight alignment on target.
