Join Our Team

We are seeking a detail-oriented International Accountant to join our team.

Reporting to the International Reporting Manager, you will assist with internal and external reporting, as well as management information (MI) and project work for our European entities and branches.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes
  • Complete Group reporting packs for quarter-end, including balance sheet reconciliations and analytical review
  • Maintain accounting records in the general ledger
  • Assist with statutory reporting and audits
  • Create and maintain Financial Reporting process documentation
  • Resolve queries related to the Accounts Payable (AP) function
  • Assist with the production of quarterly MI reporting
  • Support finance transformation and other projects
  • Contribute to the development of systems
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably required
  • Required Skills
  • Experience in the insurance market is beneficial, but not essential
  • Full qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or similar
  • Knowledge of UK/US GAAP/IFRS
  • Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure and time constraints
  • Capability to prioritize workload to manage conflicting priorities effectively
  • Flexibility and willingness to be an active team member
  • Confidence with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel
