We're recruiting a Head of Sales, to lead and elevate the company’s sales function.

This key role involves shaping the sales and marketing strategy, managing the sales team, and driving profitable growth.

Reporting directly to the MD, the position offers flexibility with the option of office-based or hybrid working, as well as genuine potential to progress into a senior leadership role.

The Company, our client, is a well established sign manufacturer with comprehensive in-house capabilities, including design, manufacturing, project management, and installation.

About this Head of Sales job

As Head of Sales, you will report directly to the Managing Director, who brings extensive experience in sign industry sales.

This provides you with a valuable source of support, and understanding to help you succeed in the role.

You can work from the company's North West office, or opt for a hybrid working.

However, as the Head of Sales, your on-site presence will be essential for conducting sales meetings, providing leadership, and mentoring junior sales team members.

Realistically, you should expect to be in the office at least once a week.

  • Manage, lead & mentor the sales team
  • Set & be accountable for company, personal & individual sales targets
  • Research & develop national sales opportunities for internal & external signage schemes
  • Ensure client records are maintained & updated on the CRM system
  • Develop & maintain relationships with prospects, new & existing client

Requirements

  • Experience of selling signage to national end users & brands in retail, leisure, health, education etc
  • Proven ability to develop new business & nurture lasting relationships with clients
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Good written & verbal communication skills
  • People management experience would be an advantage but isn't essential
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook & Excel, & ideally have experience using Clarity software
  • The right to work in the UK & a UK driving license
