About Allica Bank
Allica is the UK's fastest growing company - and the fastest-growing financial technology (Fintech) firm ever. Our purpose is to help established SMEs, one of the last major underserved opportunities in Fintech. Established SMEs are the backbone of local communities - representing over a third of our economy - yet have been largely neglected both by traditional high street banks and modern fintech providers.
Department Description
Allica is building out its growth function, based around talented, empowered and autonomous individuals who will be responsible for product-based customer acquisition using a combination of channels to meet objectives set across the business. You will get an opportunity to work with different teams across the business including product squads, distribution, engineers and operations to deliver on Allica’s mission of becoming the UK's most recommended business bank. We are rare amongst banks in that our senior leadership team have backgrounds at world-leading fintech's, which shows in their active engagement in both the strategic and execution elements of our rapidly scaling organisation. Because we are working on one of the last untapped fintech opportunities, in a new team it will mean that we're often working on entirely new challenges and unpicking complexity as we move along. No two days are ever the same.
Role Description
We are seeking a Growth Marketing Senior Analyst to build and scale growth marketing for Allica’s lending products. The role will lead targeted, insight-led campaigns from scratch, turning customer and market insight into content, campaign plans and measurable execution. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, Financial Promotions, Data and Operations teams, you will plan, execute and optimise multi-channel campaigns across letters, email, LinkedIn ads and other relevant channels, ensuring activity is compliant, scalable and continuously improving. This role blends strategy, analysis and hands-on delivery: from segmenting audiences and developing propositions through to campaign operations, tracking, optimisation and performance reporting.
Principal Accountabilities
- Segmentation & Insights: Identify and prioritise high-value customer segments using behavioural, needs-based and value data. Turn customer insights into audience definitions, propositions, messaging and content that support acquisition. Track key funnel metrics, with primary focus on customer acquisition and loan drawdowns at target CAC.
- Strategy & Execution: Build a new lending growth marketing operation from scratch, covering campaign planning, content, execution operations and customer insight. Lead targeted, multi-channel campaigns across letters, email, LinkedIn ads and other relevant channels. Run A/B testing to improve messaging, creative, targeting and channel mix. Use HubSpot or similar tools to manage workflows, automation, tracking and scalable campaign delivery.
- Performance & Optimisation: Establish clear reporting to measure performance from engagement through to funded loans. Review results, identify what is driving acquisition efficiency and embed learnings into future campaigns. Build dashboards and updates that give stakeholders clear visibility of progress against growth targets.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, Financial Promotions, Data and Operations to align priorities and execute effectively. Partner with stakeholders to ensure campaigns are commercially focused, compliant and grounded in customer insight. Champion testing, iteration and continuous improvement across lending acquisition activity.
- Reporting & Communication: Communicate campaign insight, performance and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders. Translate results into practical actions that improve future planning, investment and execution.
Personal Attributes & Experience
- Hands-on, proactive and comfortable building new marketing operations from scratch.
- Strong analytical skills, able to turn data and customer insight into targeted campaign plans.
- Experience delivering measurable acquisition growth, ideally in lending or a closely related fintech environment.
- Lending exposure is desirable; experience from growth marketing in relevant lenders would be a strong advantage.
- Proven experience delivering ABM or highly targeted multi-channel campaigns at scale.
- Comfortable with content development, campaign operations, A/B testing and performance optimisation.
- Confident using HubSpot or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, especially across Product Marketing, Financial Promotions, Sales and Data.
- Strong ownership, curiosity and attention to detail.
