Senior Cost Manager (Transmission & Distribution).
We’re looking for passionate Senior Cost Managers with Transmission and Distribution experience, to join our teams across our North, Midlands and Scotland Region operating from 8 regional offices, to work on a variety of interesting and challenging projects, both nationally and locally.
You will be joining a growing team of like-minded people that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team to successfully manage and deliver capital investment projects, which could include asset health refurbishment or replacement of existing assets.
- Provide client-side cost management support during all stages of the project delivery lifecycle from option studies, option development, construction tender support through to NEC contract administration.
- Lead the successful delivery of cost/commercial management services on multi-disciplinary Transmission, Distribution and Power Systems projects.
- Client-side cost/commercial management, including stakeholder, risk, and contract management.
- Ensure projects and commissions are delivered to the satisfaction of the client for budget management.
- Support and manage the cost/commercial management team ensuring appropriate resources are provided on projects, meeting the client and business requirements.
- Actively manage contractors and subcontractors’ payments and final accounts in accordance with contract conditions.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and members of the cross-functional team.
- Support business development opportunities with existing and new clients.
