Consultant in Adult Psychiatry
Location: Romford, Essex. Full-time, 40 hours per week. Competitive rate upon application. The role involves delivering person-centred psychiatric care for adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of adults.
- Formulate individualised treatment plans tailored to patient needs and goals.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Oversee therapeutic interventions including medication management and crisis interventions.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate patients’ progress; adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Contribute to risk assessments and management strategies, ensuring safety and well‑being.
Qualifications & Experience
- Full GMC licence to practice.
- Relevant experience working in a similar capacity.
- Section12/RC approval is essential.
- Approved clinician status desired but not essential.
