A locum opportunity is available for immediate start. The role involves working across community mental health teams (CMHT), inpatient units, and forensic services, delivering specialist psychiatric care to adult patients. The postholder will conduct assessments, develop and oversee treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality mental health services. Activities include participating in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and maintaining documentation in line with NHS standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- GMC registration (essential)
- Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
- Extensive experience in adult psychiatry, including CMHT, inpatient, and forensic settings
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
