Van Driver role in Eastleigh. Salary £31,453 per year plus a benefits package. Start times from 06:30 AM for a 45-hour weekly schedule (5 days from 7, with 5 of 7 options).
Join Brakes, part of Sysco GB, a leading UK foodservice company. You will contribute to delivering customer orders and maintaining product temperatures in a multi-temperature-controlled vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and deliver customer orders and maintain required product temperatures during transport.
- Conduct vehicle checks and comply with DVSA standards to ensure roadworthiness.
- Handle manual handling of food products in line with Health and Safety (SSOW) and hygiene regulations.
- Follow all processes and procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- A qualified 3.5/7.5t driver with extensive local road knowledge.
- Proactive, with a commitment to delivering the highest standard of service.
- Strong attention to detail, good communication and people skills.
- Ability to follow processes and procedures; flexible to work within a shift system.
- Interest in career development; support available to progress to HGV2 via driver development programme.
