Opportunity

At 9fin, we've built a dedicated Data Operations team in Belfast to enhance our data processing capabilities.

You'll be part of a highly skilled team focused on ensuring high-quality, lightning-fast data is delivered to our platform, enabling our clients to act with speed and confidence.

You'll work closely with teams in New York, London, and Belfast across Leveraged Finance, Structured Credit, Private Credit, and Distressed Debt.

What you’ll work on

Here’s a snapshot of what you might work on

  • Leverage Proprietary Tech – Use our in-house software to extract financial data from a vast range of documents, ensuring accurate, timely updates for companies under 9fin’s coverage.
  • Deliver Actionable Insights – Stay ahead of financial reporting for thousands of tracked companies, rapidly identifying key metrics from earnings reports and providing clients with meaningful insights.
  • Ensure Accuracy & Quality – Use cutting-edge technology to extract and validate financial tables, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and data integrity.
  • Analyse Financial Health – Map newly reported figures to existing financials, creating a comprehensive and real-time view of a company’s financial position.
  • Manage Capital Structures – Build and maintain capital structure tables to support detailed financial analysis.
  • Standardise Financial Data – Identify and tag key financial terms, ensuring a consistent and comparable dataset across all financial data on 9fin.
  • Drive Business Innovation – Work on exciting new projects, including restructuring, private credit, DBC data, and more, helping to shape the future of financial intelligence.

About You

We’re looking for people with a keen eye for detail and an interest in company financials—whether you’re a recent graduate, have experience in finance, economics, accountancy, audit, or another analytical role.
