We're now recruiting for a Marketing Analytics Manager (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract).

The Marketing Analytics Manager is an individual contributor role responsible for building analytical capability across Customer Marketing through robust measurement, experimentation and actionable insight.

The role will develop measurement frameworks, define KPIs and establish scalable analytical approaches that enable effective campaign planning, optimisation and performance evaluation.

Partnering with Customer Marketing, CRM and Strategy & Insights, you'll establish and evolve the team's testing and measurement capability, ensuring campaigns are designed with meaningful success measures from the outset and that results drive continuous optimisation.

Acting as the bridge between Customer Marketing, CRM and Strategy & Insights, you'll translate business objectives into analytical approaches that enable better decision-making, improve campaign effectiveness and support customer and commercial growth.

You'll also help build the reporting, tools and analytical capability that enable Marketing Managers to self-serve insight and make evidence-based decisions.

What does the job involve?

  • Develop and embed our testing and measurement strategy
  • Develop and operationalise Customer Marketing's A/B testing and control group strategy, establishing a structured test-and-learn framework that enables continuous optimisation.
  • Design robust measurement methodologies, ensuring campaigns are configured to produce statistically meaningful and commercially relevant results.
  • Develop and embed consistent KPIs, success measures and measurement frameworks across Customer Marketing.
  • Partner with CRM to deliver measurable campaigns
  • Work closely with CRM throughout campaign planning and delivery to ensure campaigns, tests and control groups are configured correctly and aligned to agreed measurement objectives.
  • Define and document campaign measurement and data requirements, ensuring the appropriate data is captured to support analysis, reporting and optimisation.
  • Champion best practice in campaign measurement, experimentation and performance evaluation across Customer Marketing.
  • Build reporting and analytical capability
  • Own and evolve the Customer Marketing Measurement Framework, ensuring consistent KPIs, measurement methodologies and reporting are applied across all Customer Marketing activity and remain aligned to business objectives.
  • Partner with CRM and Strategy & Insights to develop scalable reporting and dashboards that provide a consolidated view of Customer Marketing performance.
  • Develop scalable reporting and dashboards that provide a consolidated view of Customer Marketing performance across Bloomreach, Power BI and other data sources, including Snowflake, Google Analytics and Content Square.
  • Develop standardised reporting, dashboards and self-service tools that enable Marketing Managers to access insight and monitor campaign performance.
  • Continuously improve reporting and measurement capabilities to support a growing Customer Marketing function.
  • Turn data into actionable insight
  • Analyse campaign performance, customer behaviour and commercial outcomes to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations that inform campaign optimisation, investment decisions and future planning.
  • Surface key risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders, providing context and clear recommendations for action.
  • Build analytical capability across Customer Marketing
  • Act as the primary liaison across Marketing, CRM, Data and Insights teams, aligning priorities, translating business requirements and ensuring timely delivery of analytical solutions.
  • Support Marketing Managers in developing their analytical capability through coaching, knowledge sharing and embedding best practice.
  • Promote a culture of experimentation, evidence-based decision making and continuous improvement across the Customer Marketing team.
  • Keep abreast of emerging measurement approaches, analytical techniques and marketing technologies, identifying opportunities to improve how Customer Marketing measures and optimises performance.
  • Risk, governance and compliance
  • Ensure marketing measurement and reporting activities comply with regulatory requirements, data governance standards and customer privacy obligations.
  • Support the business in meeting its regulatory responsibilities, including Consumer Duty, by ensuring appropriate controls and measurement are in place.
  • Identify and elevate data-related risks or issues, working collaboratively to ensure they are effectively managed.
  • Competence, knowledge and skills

Experience

  • Experience developing and embedding marketing measurement, experimentation or customer analytics capabilities.
  • Experience establishing best practices, improving analytics maturity and embedding scalable measurement approaches.
  • Experience working with CRM teams and marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong understanding of customer marketing, CRM and customer lifecycle marketing principles.
  • Experience designing A/B tests, control groups and measurement frameworks that deliver statistically meaningful and commercially actionable insight.
  • Proven ability to translate business objectives into analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.
  • Experience developing and owning marketing performance reporting and measurement frameworks, including regular reporting to senior stakeholders, using Power BI or similar visualisation tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.

  • Statistical testing methodologies, including A/B testing, control groups and significance testing.
  • Reporting and visualisation approaches that enable effective decision making.
  • Understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation, personalisation, loyalty and retention strategies.
  • Knowledge of customer data models, CRM platforms and data governance principles.
