We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time hours per week for a client based in Ilford, Essex. This is a CMHT role and the vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately, for a short-term contract.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of adults
- Formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each person's needs and goals
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with various healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Oversee therapeutic interventions, including medication management and crisis interventions
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the progress of individuals, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Contribute to risk assessments and management strategies to ensure safety and well-being of patients
Qualifications and Experience
- Full GMC license to practice
- Section 12 Approved Clinician Status
- Previous experience in adult psychiatry
Eligibility Requirements
- Not a resident within the Red or Amber list of the Code of practice for the international recruitment of health and social care personnel in England, based on the WHO list
