Consultant in Adult Psychiatry – Grade: Consultant – Location: Bristol, South West England – Working
This vacancy is available on a locum basis for a short‑term contract with immediate start.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of adults to understand mental health challenges, considering personal history and symptoms.
- Formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each person's needs and goals.
- Lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver person‑centred care.
- Oversee therapeutic interventions, including medication management and crisis interventions.
- Monitor and evaluate individual progress, adjusting treatment plans to optimise care.
- Contribute to risk assessments and management strategies to ensure safety and well‑being.
Qualifications & Experience
- Full GMC licence to practice.
- Section 12 & AC approval.
- Proven experience in adult psychiatry or relevant field.
