Monzo is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Technology Risk Senior Analyst to join our growing Technology Risk Oversight team. In this dynamic, fast‑paced role you will help ensure the security and resilience of our technology estate, protect customer data, and strengthen trust in our services.
Location: Remote (within the UK)
Compensation: £59,500 – £75,000 + incentive awards tied to performance
Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment and Analysis: proactively identify and assess technology risks across Monzo’s cloud‑native infrastructure and applications, evaluate existing controls and recommend improvements, and analyze and interpret risk data to provide actionable insights.
- Risk Management: contribute to the development and implementation of risk management frameworks tailored to a modern, cloud‑first environment, monitor and report on the status of risk mitigation activities, and assist in developing risk appetite statements and tolerance levels.
- Reporting and Communication: communicate complex technical risk information clearly and concisely to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, prepare regular risk reports and dashboards for management, and foster a culture of risk awareness across the organization.
- Continuous Improvement: stay up‑to‑date with the latest technology risks, security trends, and regulatory changes, contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management processes and tools, and share knowledge and best practices with the team.
