Salary and Incentives
£59,500 - £70,000 (depending on experience) + Incentive Awards tied to your performance.

Job Description
We're looking for a Compliance Advisory Manager to join our second line of defence (2Lo D).
This role reports directly to Monzo's Senior Compliance Advisory Manager.
The team is responsible for advising the following teams: the Wealth Collective - covering Savings, Investments, Pensions & Insurance; the Growth & Marketing Collective - incl.
Brand Campaigns, events & sponsorship; Monz OS - covering the Monzo-wide platform experience, incl. incorporating AI.
This role will have day-to-day responsibility for advising on compliance matters across all three collectives, but we're specifically looking for someone with previous knowledge and experience so that they can independently lead on advising the Investments and Pensions squads within the Wealth Collective.
The expectation will be to upskill across all areas over time.
Responsibilities
- Being the first point of contact for compliance advice, initially for the Wealth Collective but expanding to Growth & Marketing and Monz OS over time.
- Providing clear and proactive compliance advice, especially on COBS, PROD, SDR, CASS and Consumer Duty.
- Reviewing customer journeys and communications to help the business deliver good customer outcomes, and flagging any risks.
- Advising Marketing and Financial Promotion teams on financial promotion rules and guidance.
- Overseeing regulatory breaches and incidents as part of the team.
- Learning about the wider Collectives the team supports with the aim to expand your knowledge to proactively support more areas in future.
Requirements
- You know the Consumer Duty and COBS rules inside out.
- You've got hands-on experience advising on products ideally from working at a bank, wealth manager, or fintech.
- You're already incorporating AI into your day-to-day work.
- You like to be where the action is and thrive in fast paced environments.
- You're a great communicator and problem-solver, good at weighing risks and finding balanced solutions.
- You can work independently and juggle changing priorities.
- You're good at building strong relationships with different teams.
