We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full‑time hours for an NHS client based in Warrington, Lancashire. The vacancy is available on a locum basis for a short‑term contract, with immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality patient care in the General Adult Psychiatry Ward
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain Section 12 and Approved Clinician approval, and comply with all legal obligations under the Mental Health Act and Ministry of Justice
- Assess patients under the MHA, make recommendations, and act as Responsible Clinician (RC)
Qualifications and Experience
- Full GMC license to practice
- Section 12 Approved Clinician status
- Previous experience in a similar role
