We’re currently looking for Food Warehouse Operatives to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. M&J (Sysco GB) Seafood CPU Depot is the leading food service supplier located in Bicester, Oxfordshire. Join us in preparing, packaging, and checking a range of chilled and frozen fresh seafood ready for distribution direct to the caterer nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Handle and prepare various food products, primarily fish
- Prepare, package, and check seafood for distribution
- Work in a temperature-controlled (chilled) environment
- Spend most of the day on your feet
- Maintain accurate records of stock for audit purposes
- Learn new skills and potentially be trained in fish mongering by Industry Professionals
Qualifications
- Computer savvy with ability to keep stock records for audit purposes
- Great attention to detail
- Previous experience in a food production or kitchen environment is advantageous
- Basic food safety knowledge is advantageous
- Ability to learn and be a part of a team
