Overview

We are the internal recruitment partner working with a well-established independent, family-owned enterprise that has been a cornerstone of the UK's foodservice distribution sector for nearly five decades.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Part-Time Telesales Advisor (4 days per week) to join the well established team in Basildon.

The successful Telesales Advisor will provide an excellent service to both new and existing customers, making outbound calls and handling incoming enquiries, while dealing with customer queries relating to orders and products.

You will be speaking with an established customer base, identifying opportunities to maximise sales through up-selling and cross-selling, while managing customer expectations and delivering exceptional customer service.

Working closely with the field sales team, you will help develop new business accounts while building strong customer relationships and providing an outstanding level of service.

  • Role & responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Previous experience within a sales or telesales role.
  • Good IT skills with experience of MS Office
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills Good time management and the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Confident, professional & resilient
  • Live within a commutable distance to the depot based in Basildon.

What we offer

  • We are offering an hourly rate of £13 per hour, with the potential to earn up to an additional £3,000 in commission.
  • No weekends – Monday–Friday, ideally 9am–3pm (4 days per week)
  • 28 days holiday (pro-rated) including 3 Bank Holidays (Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day).
