We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our client’s team based in Bangor, Caernarvonshire.

This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of adults, considering personal history and symptoms.
  • Formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each person's needs and goals.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with various healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Oversee therapeutic interventions, including medication management and crisis interventions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of individuals regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimise care.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and management strategies, ensuring safety and well-being of those in care.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Full GMC licence to practice
  • Section 12 Approved Clinician
  • Specialist Register (CCT)
  • Proven experience in a relevant field
