We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our client’s team based in Bangor, Caernarvonshire.
This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of adults, considering personal history and symptoms.
- Formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each person's needs and goals.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with various healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
- Oversee therapeutic interventions, including medication management and crisis interventions.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of individuals regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimise care.
- Contribute to risk assessments and management strategies, ensuring safety and well-being of those in care.
Qualifications and Experience
- Full GMC licence to practice
- Section 12 Approved Clinician
- Specialist Register (CCT)
- Proven experience in a relevant field
