The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse seeks a dedicated, skilled Non‑Invasive Cardiac Physiologist for a 3‑month locum role starting 5 November 2024. The position is full‑time with a competitive hourly rate of £24‑£35.
Responsibilities
- Perform non‑invasive cardiac diagnostic tests, including ECGs, Holter monitoring, and stress tests
- Analyse and interpret test results and produce accurate and timely reports
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain and calibrate diagnostic equipment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and departmental protocols
Qualifications and Experience
- IBHRE / BHRS accreditation (desirable)
- Relevant qualification and registration as a Cardiac Physiologist
- Proven experience as a Cardiac Physiologist with a focus on pacing and devices
- Experience in non‑invasive cardiac diagnostics
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
