About The Role
The AI Product Engineer will design, develop, and deploy AI‑powered software solutions that automate real‑world processes.
The engineer works directly with customers to craft product specifications and build solutions from the ground up, turning research breakthroughs into practical, scalable applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced software solutions that integrate AI to tackle real‑world challenges, especially in automating complex, manual processes for governments and industrial sectors.
- Collaborate directly with key customer stakeholders to define product specifications and build from zero.
- Build scalable data pipelines, integrate industrial sensor networks, optimize application performance, and prepare systems for production.
- Mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and uphold high‑quality engineering practices.
- Monitor and maintain deployed applications to ensure continued value delivery across governments worldwide.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of software engineering experience and a proven track record of working directly with customers to translate requirements into code.
- Strong knowledge of front‑end and back‑end technologies, microservices, and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency with modern web tooling such as React, Type Script, RESTful APIs, and database management systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and thrive in fast‑paced environments.
- Willingness to own problems end‑to‑end and acquire any necessary knowledge.
- Travel to customer locations globally for 6+ months is required.
- Nice to Have
- Experience with on‑site engineering or client‑facing roles such as Forward‑Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Customer Engineer.
- Strong foundation in software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
