The opportunity Channel Insider, part of TechnologyAdvice, is looking for an experienced Account Director to become the first dedicated EMEA channel sales specialist within our growing EMEA business. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior, highly visible, first feet on the ground role with the mandate to help shape, launch, and scale Channel Insider’s EMEA commercial presence.
You will join TechnologyAdvice at an exciting stage of growth, with the backing of an established global business, a strong brand portfolio, proven demand generation capabilities, and a leadership team committed to building something meaningful in the EMEA channel market. This is a senior, quota-carrying role with ownership of the full sales cycle. You will identify and develop high-value client relationships, engage senior marketing and channel decision-makers, uncover commercial challenges, and position tailored solutions across digital brand, content, events, audience engagement, and demand generation.
The successful candidate will be someone who knows the channel ecosystem, understands how vendors and partners go to market, and can bring credibility, confidence, and commercial energy into senior client conversations. While you will be accountable for your own revenue number, you will not be building in isolation. You will have the support of TechnologyAdvice’s senior leadership, client success, delivery, marketing, StudioA, product, sales enablement, SDRs, and the wider global business.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan.
- Grow channel accounts both in terms of their finite number and their annual value.
- Prospect effectively, organizing your time, and deliver professional and memorable sales pitches to new prospects and existing contacts to achieve quota.
- Create and execute key sales and business development strategies to increase pipeline.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Create personalized, compelling value propositions around TechnologyAdvice’s channel offerings and deliver appropriate proposals that accurately describe those products and set proper expectations.
- Negotiate and close deals, handle objections and challenges, and manage annual contract negotiations.
- Remain current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Collaborate with client success to ensure best-in‑class service that maximizes repeat business and high regard.
Who you are
- An outcomes-oriented channel salesperson with 3+ years of experience selling marketing solutions to or with IT channel marketing and executive leadership.
- Proven track record in winning brand-to-demand, demand generation and digital media campaigns, driving substantial revenue growth through both incumbent and net new accounts.
- Unrelenting drive and competitive spirit, consistently thriving in high-pressure environments.
- Ability to successfully craft and implement sophisticated account/territory plans with long-term growth objectives.
- Experience with MDF, Co-op, and other vendor reimbursement-funded models.
- Skilled in diagnosing client needs and designing tailored high-impact business solutions.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating complex contracts, ensuring win‑win outcomes.

Salary Range
We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision. Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor. Annual pay range: £70,000 — £90,000 GBP Total annual compensation including commission up to: £100,000 — £130,000 GBP.
