Hiring: HGV 2 Driver with Customer Service

Job Description Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm Doherty & Lafferty is a well-established business with a strong reputation for reliability, professionalism and excellent customer service. We are looking for a dependable and professional Class 2 Driver to join our team based in Dumbarton. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out deliveries and collections safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The role primarily involves driving a tipper lorry while always representing the company in a professional manner. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver seeking stable, full-time employment with consistent Monday to Friday working hours. Complete deliveries and collections efficiently and on schedule. Ensure loads are secure and transported safely. Assist with loading and unloading when required. Full UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence. Digital tachograph card. Good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations. Safe and responsible approach to driving. Previous experience in a driving a tipper lorry. Experience with multi-drop deliveries and collections. Good knowledge of the local area. Starting rate of £13.71 per hour. Pay increase following successful completion of the 6-month probationary period. Monday to Friday working pattern. Stable, full-time employment.
