Doherty & Gray Ltd are a long-established meat company in Ballymena, in business for over 70 years. We are looking for someone to join the dispatch team in the sausage house. Fit and healthy with good attendance is essential, as is previous dispatch experience. Rate of pay, initially Β£13.30 per hour but once trained and able to work on their own this will increase. There are also production and attendance bonuses available. 40-hour contract, permanent after 6 months probationary period.
The main duties involve:
- Retrieving orders from the computer system
- Building and scanning pallets for despatch
- Wrapping pallets
- Generating shipment notices & delivery notes
- Working for approximately 8 hours every third weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
