Join Our Team as a Dietary Aide/Cook to support nutrition and resident care. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dietary Aide to join our growing team! Success in this role requires trustworthiness, consistency in attendance, and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment. A cooperative and professional demeanor is essential to collaborate with others and meet the demands of this position.
Your Impact as a Dietary Aide:
- Assist with Meal Service: Assemble trays and deliver meal carts to the appropriate nursing or dining areas.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Dispose of refuse according to departmental policies and procedures.
- Manage Supplies: Assemble and deliver floor supplies according to posted standards and ensure proper rotation of food and supplies (first in, first out).
- Prepare Foods: Prepare all foods according to the menu and standardized recipes in a safe, efficient, and sanitary manner.
- Serve Meals: Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods as indicated on spreadsheets and recipes.
- Sanitize Equipment: Wash, sanitize, and store all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment properly.
