The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.
Working within our small Manufacturing team you will spend
- 3 days a week on the road for safe, timely, and efficient transportation of robot parts/robots between company facilities and customer locations (approx 180 miles driving in a day).
- 2 days a week assisting the Manufacturing team building & testing new strawberry picking robots as well as repairing, refurbishing and upgrading our existing fleet.
- Using our 4×4 & trailer to load/unload/deliver robot parts and robots both locally and to/from Lincolnshire
- Following Standard Operating procedures and Health & Safety guidance for unloading and loading
- Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with the Highway Code and UK road legislation
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with the Dogtooth team, 3rd party warehouse staff, and customers
- Replenishing materials to build areas
Characteristics, skills and experience we are looking for
- Over 25 years old with a clean UK driving license
- Experience driving a trailer (preferred)
- Good work ethic
- Punctuality and dependability
- Ability to be flexible and work as part of a team
- Interest in manufacturing & technology
- Logistical or warehousing experience is a bonus
- Eligible to work in the UK.
