Are you a dog lover with a knack for building relationships, identifying problems and supporting teams to find solutions? We’re looking for an Improvement Business Partner to join our Delivery and Performance directorate, tasked with guiding and coaching various areas of our organisation to co-design, improve, streamline and optimise their processes. While this role is hybrid with a base at our London office, the nature of this role is flexible, and the post holder will be expected to collaborate with teams across the country.

What does this role do? As Improvement Business Partner, you’ll:

  • Collaborate with various teams across the organisation, from rehoming centres to support functions, empowering them to find solutions to their business problems.
  • Support the user‑centric design of processes and services, identifying opportunities to streamline, automate and save costs, and optimise the user experience.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement across teams, empowering all colleagues to think curiously and critically about their challenges, building organisational resilience for the future.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be an excellent communicator with brilliant stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively business partner, coach and influence colleagues. Ideally, you’ll have some process improvement and/or service design experience, and the ability to analyse complex processes, with keen attention to detail. While a process improvement qualification would be beneficial, we’re looking for applicants who have a positive, proactive attitude to business change, who are excited by the prospect of working autonomously and decisively, even when the brief is ambiguous or unclear.

About Dogs Trust: We love dogs. That’s why we do whatever we can to make sure every four‑legged friend gets the love they deserve. We’ll never put a healthy dog down, so our work is focused on helping dogs in need, supporting owners every step of the walk, and creating a better world for dogs in the future. It’s what we’ve been doing since 1891 and how we’ve grown to become the UK’s leading dog charity, helping 12,000 loyal friends find their forever homes every year.
