Dogs Trust is looking for a Customer Insights Officer (Qualitative) to help uncover what matters most to our key audiences. Working closely with the Insights Manager, you’ll play a vital role in exploring motivations, needs and behaviours to inform impactful external communications and customer journeys across the organisation.
What does this role do?
- Design and execute qualitative research, including developing discussion guides, conducting interviews, and moderating focus groups.
- Collect, process, and analyse data from internal systems and primary research to identify key themes and insights.
- Develop clear reports and presentations to communicate findings, highlighting implications for Dogs Trust’s external communications and strategies.
- Contribute to the development of audience personas and journey maps, working closely with Customer Journey Officers to capture audience needs and motivations.
- Support stakeholder engagement, champion audience insights across the organisation, and stay updated on emerging qualitative research trends.
Could this be you?
An excellent communicator with expertise in market research you will have experience of conducting qualitative research, including designing and moderating focus groups and conducting in-depth interviews. Knowledge of behavioural science principles and their application to marketing and communications is desirable.
What do we do?
The Customer Insights and Journey team sits within Marketing and Communications under Marketing Strategy and Planning. Working alongside strategic communications experts within Marketing Strategy and Planning, the Customer Insights team is responsible for developing a deep understanding of Dogs Trust\’s audiences through research and data analysis to inform the development and implementation of our external communications and customer journey planning.
