Are you an IT professional who has experience in business analysis and is passionate about improving animal welfare? We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to deliver a variety of projects across the organisation, at a time of exciting change and innovation.

What does this role do? As Business Analyst, you will:

  • Evaluate business processes, gather requirements, identify areas for development and implement solutions to problems.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to prioritise initiatives and determine the impact of proposed changes, collaborating with the IT Project Manager to complete required business analysis work, from discovery to implementation.
  • Define and work to high business analysis standards and be accountable for the success and quality of any business solutions implemented.

Could this be you? To be successful in this role, it is critical that you have excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills, and proven experience of these skills in a previous Business Analysis role. You’ll need to be an excellent communicator, with strong verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver messages clearly to influence stakeholders from all corners of the organisation. You will be able to bridge the gap between business and technical and be resilient to change in a fast-moving environment. Experience of working for a charitable organisation and working with Salesforce CRM would be advantageous. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects including exciting new innovative change and ongoing improvements; adaptability is key.

What does this team do? The IT department is responsible for the ongoing management and development of critical business systems that contribute to the overall success of Dogs Trust activities. The focus of the Business Analyst role will be working with their assigned Business Partners to identify, shape and sponsor existing and new transformation projects, business as usual initiatives, and continuous improvements across Dogs Trust to support the realisation of the DT Strategy.

We operate a flexible hybrid working model but some attendance to our London Head Office will be required. Please note, this role is being offered as a fixed term contract until 30th June 2027.

The closing date for applications is 22nd February 2026 and initial screening interviews are due to take place via Teams on 4th - 6th March, with panel interviews (also via Teams) the following week.
