The Dog & Fox is an iconic pub and hotel in the heart of Wimbledon Village. We are an established events venue, pub, dining serving a premium collection of draught & craft beers, local London spirits and fine wines. We offer the best in seasonal, fresh, British produce for our menu and have 25 exquisite bedrooms above in our boutique hotel.
We're on the lookout for a Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Porter (KP) to join our brilliant kitchen team at The Dog & Fox. Whether you've worked in kitchens before or you're looking to get your foot in the door, we're after someone who's hardworking, reliable, and happy to get stuck in. You'll be a key part of the team, helping keep the kitchen running smoothly and supporting our chefs during busy services.
What you'll be doing:
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and ready for service
- Washing and putting away crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Helping with deliveries and keeping storage areas tidy
- Assisting the chefs with basic prep when needed
- Making sure hygiene and food safety standards are always spot on
- Being part of a team that works hard, looks after each other, and has a laugh along the way
