The predicted salary is between 60000 - 80000 £ per year.

As Project Procurement Lead, you will be responsible for planning and managing procurement activities for assigned subsea projects, from tender support and project start‑up through execution and close‑out. You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure procurement is aligned with project scope, schedule, budget, risk and client requirements. This is primarily a project procurement management role.

You will develop procurement plans, manage procurement forecasts, lead sourcing and subcontracting activities, follow up suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure procurement risks are identified, communicated and managed. In addition, you will contribute to selected category management activities where project insight can create wider value for DOF, including supplier strategy, frame agreements, market intelligence, demand visibility, cost‑driver understanding and lessons learned from project execution. In practice, this means turning project needs and supplier performance into better sourcing decisions and stronger category strategies.

We are looking for someone who can combine operational delivery with commercial judgement — someone who can manage day‑to‑day procurement execution while also thinking strategically when needed.

Requirements

  • Relevant university degree within Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Law, Finance or similar. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
  • Minimum 5‑10 years of relevant experience from procurement, operations, project procurement, subcontract management, category management or supply chain in complex project environments.
  • Experience from subsea, offshore, marine, renewables, oil and gas, EPCI, vessel‑based operations or similar project‑driven industries.
  • Experience with project scopes such as mooring, decommissioning, IMR, construction, installation support or similar subsea/offshore services is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Location

The position is based in Haugesund, Bergen or Aberdeen.

Benefits

  • Worldwide Fleet: Be a part of our global operations and gain exposure to a diverse range of projects and locations.
  • Competitive Insurance and Pension Schemes: We offer comprehensive insurance and pension plans to ensure your peace of mind and financial security.
  • Physical Activity Subsidy: We support your well‑being by offering subsidies for physical activities, helping you stay active and healthy.
  • Company Apartments at Voss: Enjoy access to our company apartments at Myrkdalen Fjellandsby, perfect for skiing in during the winter and hiking during the summer.
  • Career Growth: We encourage internal mobility and provide opportunities to grow within the company, whether it’s moving upwards or exploring new roles sideways.
