Why should you apply to join the DOF Subsea Graduate Scheme? Our Graduate Scheme is a two-year programme during which you will spend time in several key departments to develop a good understanding of what is required to be a Subsea Project Engineer. Graduates also have opportunities to work offshore on one or more of our construction vessels to understand delivering engineering from tender through to execution. The department rotations provide experience with Projects, Commercial, QHSE, Survey, Procurement, Drafting and other areas to give you a broad overview of our operations. Offshore trips aim to give you the experience of being on a vessel and part of the team delivering the work.
We balance a structured rotation schedule with flexibility to play to your strengths. You will be allocated a mentor and supported by the whole team at DOF. We hire a small number of graduates each year to provide focused development and to ensure you have the right level of support to succeed.
What you will do: We offer on-the-job training to help you move from your university degree in engineering to delivering projects in subsea engineering. You will gain practical experience by rotating through key departments and, where possible, by working offshore to understand how projects are delivered from tender to completion. You will be encouraged to work towards a Professional Qualification and/or engineering chartership. If you are looking for a role with variety that will set you up for a career in the energy industry, we want to hear from you.
