Join us as a Lead Project Engineer in Aberdeen. DOF is a leading international group of companies specializing in offshore and subsea services. We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Project Engineer to join our team. As a Lead Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing project activities, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines and budget.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting and challenging projects, spanning different disciplines such as IMR, SURF, subsea installations, and more. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field (experience can compensate for lack of formal competency)
- Experience in project engineering within the offshore/subsea industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Management of subcontracts and subcontractors
- Experience in site management of fabrication subcontractors and Site Integration and Factory Acceptance Testing of equipment and tooling packages for the oil and gas industry
- Management of QA/QC principles
- Detailed understanding of relevant codes and standards
- Understanding of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment tools and techniques
- General understanding of project management tools and techniques (including cost and schedule control)
