Bridge - Senior Navigator - Multi Needs Navigator Service in Bradford

Job Introduction

The Bridge Project is a Bradford based charity with over 35 years’ experience delivering services and projects addressing a range of issues such as drug and alcohol use, risk taking behaviours, relationships, housing, physical/mental health, and employment. We work with individuals, families, partners, and communities to improve people’s lives in a sustainable way, empowering people experiencing multiple barriers to achieve positive change.

We have an exciting opportunity within our well-established multiple needs navigator service for a permanent Senior Navigator, who will work with a team of Navigators delivering support to people who have multiple needs and find it difficult to engage. The service supports people with the most entrenched needs, within the domains of mental health, criminal justice, substance misuse, homelessness and physical health.

The successful candidate will be an experienced professional who can lead, inspire and develop a team and who has an understanding of trauma informed care approaches, along with the knowledge and experience of delivering services which evidence high performance and quality standards.

You will be an ideal fit if you are great with teams, ensuring that the team stays focused and the service runs smoothly, making certain that staff working in the service produce comprehensive coordinated care packages with each service user that is implemented and reviewed. You will empower staff to promote hope, empowerment, choice and opportunities that assist service users reaching their full potential as individuals and community members.

In addition to carrying a caseload, the Senior Navigator will work with the Service Manager by demonstrating day‑to‑day leadership and performing a range of delegated tasks.

A driving licence with access to a vehicle and fully comprehensive business insurance is essential for this role. A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check is also a requirement of the post (the results of which would not necessarily exclude applicants from consideration).
