Project Worker – Wellbeing Service

The Bridge Project plays an essential role within the Bradford District & Craven Wellbeing Network, providing a single point of access for system partners and front‑line workers.
We are looking for a full‑time Project Worker on a fixed‑term contract until 31 March 2027 to serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking support, helping them navigate services and access the right help.
You will also support the delivery of our in‑house telephone befriending service.
Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming first point of contact for individuals seeking support and offer triage screening, assessing wellbeing needs, and connecting people to relevant services.
- Recruit, train, and support volunteer befrienders, ensuring they can provide meaningful assistance.
- Maintain contact with service users throughout their journey.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with volunteers, stakeholders, and the wider Wellbeing Network.
Qualifications
- Experience in a voluntary, health, or care setting.
- Strong communication and IT skills (Microsoft Office proficiency).
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, and professional boundaries.
- Passion for empowering people and supporting community wellbeing.
- Desirable experience in volunteer coordination.
