D&H is a much-loved and highly respected equine nutrition brand with the horse at the heart of everything we do – and we’re on the lookout for a Head of International Sales to help drive our next stage of global growth. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing international sales strategies, building strong relationships with distributors and key partners, and ensuring the D&H brand continues to thrive across global markets. If you’re commercially driven, passionate about equine nutrition, and experienced in international sales leadership, this is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of D&H.

The Requirements

  • Proven experience in strategic international sales within the equestrian market
  • Strong people and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Proactive and positive approach to opportunities and problem solving
  • Experience of developing and implementing effective sales strategies
  • Self-motivated, target-driven and resilient
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required
  • Degree educated in animal or equine science (Desirable)

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, develop and implement strategic plans to achieve international sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and customers across key global markets
  • Represent D&H at commercial events and act as a brand ambassador, internally and externally
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing and Head of PR to deliver brand building and sales driving campaigns
  • Report on market trends and insights to inform future strategy and product development
  • Develop relationships with relevant media and suppliers to facilitate in-country specific campaigns
  • Lead, motivate and develop the International Sales and Customer Service Team to deliver growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive product innovation and support materials tailored for international markets
