Are you a Junior Quantity Surveyor who is looking for an exciting new opportunity in the construction or demolition industry? If so, then please read on. Our client is a growing contractor within the enabling sector of construction. They are looking for a new Quantity Surveyor to work between local sites and their Nuneaton-based office. Commutable from Leicester, Coventry, Birmingham, Nuneaton, Worcester, Warwickshire and surrounding areas.
Duties Include:
- Assisting with the commercial management of construction projects from pre-construction through to final account.
- Supporting the preparation of cost plans, valuations, variations and financial reports.
- Assisting with subcontractor procurement, package evaluations and contract administration.
- Monitoring project costs and helping to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiencies.
- Supporting the measurement and valuation of works completed on site.
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of interim applications and final accounts.
- Maintaining accurate commercial records and project documentation.
- Working closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
