We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Aluminum Capper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship, has a sharp eye for detail, and thrives working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a vital role in ensuring clean, professional finishing around garage door openings that meet the high-quality standards our customers expect.
A Day in the Life of an Aluminum Capper
- Install aluminum capping around garage door frames and exterior trim
- Measure, cut, bend, and form aluminum to fit various door and building styles
- Ensure all work is completed neatly, watertight, and with attention to aesthetic detail
- Operate brake and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Load materials and tools, maintain an organized work vehicle, and ensure jobsites are clean
- Communicate with homeowners, builders, and teammates to ensure work meets expectations
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with related finishing or installation tasks as needed
What You Bring
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in aluminum capping, exterior finishing, or related
- Strong measurement and cutting skills, with attention to detail and precision
- Experience using brake machines, snips, and hand tools
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, and climbing ladders as required
- A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Strong communication skills and a professional appearance
- Positive attitude, reliability, and pride in workmanship
