We are delighted to be working with LTE Group, the UK’s largest, fully integrated social enterprise, dedicated to learning, training and employment, to recruit a Director of Governance & Company Secretary. Created to respond to the changing national skills agenda and economic needs of our communities, LTE Group is well placed to shape and inform how education is delivered at a local, regional and national level. It achieves this objective through its sector-leading brands: The Manchester College, UCEN Manchester, Novus, Total People and MOL.

The successful individual will work with the Chair, Chief Executive and Board, to ensure the highest standards of corporate governance and compliance are administered in line with best practice, whilst facilitating decision making and co-ordinating committees. You will take accountability for regulatory compliance, governance advice and recruitment, and sourcing legal and legislative advice to mitigate risk, inform thinking and modernise working practices.

We are seeking an experienced governance professional who has operated within a complex customer-centric environment. You will have a wealth of experience working with a forward-thinking Chief Executive and advising Boards to ensure effective governance and regulatory compliance is delivered whilst facilitating change. You will be an excellent communicator, with the capacity to influence senior leaders and be suitably hands-on to coordinate administration methodically and fastidiously.
