We are delighted to be working with Coleg Sir Gâr and Coleg Ceredigion, part of the University of Wales Trinity St David Group (UWTSD) to recruit their next Principal & Chief Executive. The successful candidate will champion the college’s mission and shape its future direction, whilst upholding the delivery of education and training that is of the highest quality, inclusive and responsive to the needs of students and employers across Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion.

The UWTSD Group is a dynamic learner-focused institution committed to the evolution of tertiary education across Wales with learner success and personal development at the heart of everything it does. Working in partnership with the Board, you will lead the organisation in delivering inspirational learning and an innovative and modern curriculum, set within a tertiary education context.

You will work collaboratively across regional and national communities, building new and existing partnerships to drive growth with a razor focus on the quality agenda and prudent fiscal management, whilst inspiring a dedicated team to promote a culture of continuous performance improvement.

We are seeking to appoint a proven leader who is strategic in approach, commercial in outlook and understands how to deliver ongoing change (tertiary education, economic development) in a considered yet impactful way. With the capacity to influence, engage and inspire, you must have an unrelenting passion for education and training, whilst striving for excellence in all that the college does.

This role requires a resolute professional who understands the evolving education landscape and has the expertise of working with a board, regional employers and national partners, coupled with the confidence, a dextrous approach and thinking to lead from the front.
