We are delighted to be working with Blackpool & The Fylde College (B&FC), one of the most successful and progressive Further Education colleges in the UK to recruit up to four new Corporation Board Members. B&FC is an award-winning college with an exceptional reputation nationally for its technical and vocational learning with a dedication to providing vibrant career opportunities for all. The college is ferociously committed to delivering the skills and training across the communities of Blackpool and the wider Fylde Coast to underpin economic growth, drive productivity, widen participation and promote regional prosperity.

As a Board Member, you will contribute your knowledge and expertise to the Board\’s debate and to its collective decision-making, formulating strategy, providing direction and assessing performance. You will act as a critical friend for the Chief Executive and the Executive Team, providing constructive support and offering effective challenge, when necessary, all set within an effective governance framework.

As an inspirational, innovative and strategic leader, you will ideally have a working knowledge of the region and be sympathetic to the values of the organisation, with the commitment to ensure the college achieves its ambitious agenda in today\’s ever-changing education landscape.
