We are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s most prominent and diverse education groups to recruit a Chief Finance Officer. The organisation has grown significantly in recent years, with an expansive estate development programme (Circa £100m) in place to further enhance the student experience and advance its commercial (UK/international) growth agenda. This is a progressive group that is continually evolving to meet the needs of the UK's changing economy and skills landscape whilst remaining committed to its mission and values.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will lead the financial strategy across the wider business, ensuring the organisation's financial integrity through enhanced business planning and financial control to maximise efficiency and growth opportunities. You will provide the day-to-day line management for the finance function, with a keen focus on capital expenditure and risk management, along with the analysis of key management information to maintain its strong financial position.

You will be a qualified, commercially orientated finance leader with a wealth of strategic experience, ideally gained within a highly complex, customer-centric environment (sector experience is not required). With strong technical expertise, you will have excellent analytical and planning skills and be fully conversant with complex revenue streams and capital investment initiatives. You will possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the capacity to engage at all levels across and beyond an organisation, to address strategic challenges through deliverable and workable business solutions.
