We are looking for an experienced Plumber / Pipefitter to join our vibrant team at RAF Honington to continue to deliver outstanding service and make a real difference for our business.
The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber / Pipefitter, to assist with our delivery of MOD / Defence projects in Norwich at RAF Honington & RAF Marham. You will be required to diagnose and repair faults on commercial heating and hot and cold water plumbing systems including calorifiers, plate heat exchangers, radiators, valves, pipe work controls, and all other associated elements in an efficient, safe manner and in accordance with company Health and Safety policy, Safe Systems of Work and current regulations. You will have an analytical approach to work, the ability to work both individually and collaboratively, and have an organised, calm, and adaptable nature to be able to deal with a variety of situations or tasks whilst under pressure and manage your workload to meet the contractual KPI’s.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have a trade background with experience in plumbing, heating and HVAC maintenance services, and an industry recognised qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or formal apprenticeship). Have experience with screw steel pipework copper and press fit pipework systems. Solid understanding of H&S and safe working practices.
