We are now expanding into Oxford and are seeking experienced, self-reliant GPs who want to work flexibly and independently, supported by a professional, well-established service.
The Role
As a Private General Practitioner, you’ll deliver personal, high-quality primary care in community settings, fitting visits around your existing commitments. You will:
- Visit patients in their homes, hotels, or workplaces
- See a range of common GP presentations (e.g. infections, rashes, minor injuries)
- Be contacted on an ad-hoc basisβbased on your availability
- Be supported by our experienced admin team who coordinate bookings and insurance communications
- Use our proprietary Doctorcall App (iOS/Android) for clinical records and patient details
- Be fully indemnified for all work through Doctorcall

What We’re Looking For
- GMC-registered doctor with a valid UK licence to practise
- MRCGP or equivalent postgraduate qualification
- Up-to-date mandatory training and vaccinations
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Able to work independently and with confidence
- Must have access to your own vehicle and be able to travel within Oxford and surrounding areas
Schedule & Commitment
- Flexible and sessional β work around your existing schedule
- Typically early mornings, evenings, and weekends based on your availability
- Consultations offered on an ad-hoc basis depending on demand
