  • Hotel guests in need of urgent GP care
  • Self-paying local patients seeking convenience and responsive service

We are now expanding our operation in Scotland, mainly in Glasgow and Edinburgh and are seeking experienced, self-motivated GPs to join our growing network.

The Role

This is a flexible role, ideal for GPs who want to supplement their existing NHS or private work with meaningful, well-supported private practice. You’ll visit patients in their homes, hotels, or workplaces, delivering timely, personalised care. Most presentations are standard GP cases such as infections, minor injuries, respiratory issues, fevers, and rashes.

  • You decide when you’re available - mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends
  • Consultations are pre-arranged by our admin team in consultation with you
  • All clinical notes are recorded via our secure Doctorcall App (iOS & Android)
  • We provide full indemnity cover - you don’t need your own insurance

Requirements

  • GMC-registered GP with a current UK licence to practise
  • MRCGP or equivalent postgraduate qualification
  • Up-to-date mandatory training and vaccinations
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Able to work independently with a compassionate, patient-first approach
  • Access to a car and ability to travel throughout Scotland around your local area (essential)

Schedule

  • Visits fit around your availability
  • Work may be early mornings, evenings, or weekends
  • Consultations are arranged on an ad-hoc basis depending on patient demand
