The role involves providing GP Services on behalf of Doctor Care Anywhere via our virtual consultation platform, meeting our patient needs in line with best practice guidelines, delivering value for our patients and customers across private sectors.
What we are looking for:
- Availability to work 8–12 hours per week, ideally covering shifts between 12:00 AM and 2:00 AM.
- Salaried rates are £64.89 per hour Monday–Friday and £70.30 per hour at weekends.
Key accountabilities / responsibilities:
- Deliver digital consultations (via video and phone), providing private prescriptions, referrals and fit notes.
- Support the bespoke clinical pathway, integrating primary and secondary care services.
- Provide patient facing consultation notes.
- Promote a culture of patient-centered and good professional practice relating to the safeguarding of adults, young persons and children at risk.
- Actively implement safeguarding protocols for children, young persons, and vulnerable adults and know who to refer to and how to escape concerns about radicalisation.
- Ensure that provisions in relation to all Mental Health Legislation including the Mental Health Act 2007, Mental Capacity Act 2005, are implemented in accordance with the legislative requirements, Codes of Practice requirements and National and Government Guidance.
Experience / Education:
- MRCGP Qualification.
- Registered on the GMC GP Register with licence to practice.
- Approximately 3-5 minimum year post CCT experience.
- On an NHS National performers list (England, Wales or Northern Ireland).
- Must be based in the United Kingdom.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Strong clinical decision-making abilities, with sound judgement in complex or time-sensitive situations.
- Digitally proficient, with confidence using healthcare systems, electronic records, and digital tools.
- A genuine passion for healthcare and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Self-motivated and committed to continuous professional development, actively seeking to expand knowledge and skills relevant to the role.
