Your next role: We’re looking for a Head of Communications who lives and breathes storytelling, influence, and clarity. This role is the heartbeat of how we show up to the world; shaping our voice, sharpening our message, and ensuring that everything we communicate (externally or internally) is consistent, compelling, and unmistakably us. You’ll be the guardian of our narrative, the owner of “the pen,” and the person who helps everyone from patients, partners, investors and colleagues understand exactly who we are, what we stand for, and how we’re changing healthcare for the better. This is a role for someone energetic, curious, and creative, who can blend strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery. It’s a chance to lead comms for a fast‑moving, listed digital health company and have a genuine, visible impact.

  • External Communications

Build and deliver engaging external comms strategies that elevate our brand, strengthen our reputation, and support business goals. Develop bold, clear, and consistent messaging across press releases, social, digital channels, corporate statements, and campaigns. Act as company spokesperson and manage all media enquiries with speed, accuracy, and confidence. Oversee global PR and comms agencies, ensuring high‑quality output and ROI. Foster strong relationships with journalists, industry commentators, influencers, and partners.

  • Internal Communications

Lead on internal communications strategy with the support of one direct resource. Ensure colleagues feel informed, inspired, and connected to our mission through transparent, consistent communication. Drive creative comms across newsletters, town halls, leadership messaging, campaigns, and cultural initiatives. Partner closely with the Exec Team to ensure internal messaging aligns with external narrative — no surprises, no contradictions.

  • Investor Relations (ASX‑listed business)

Own the communications and messaging interface with the investment community. Support financial reporting cycles, investor announcements, trading updates and presentations. Ensure clarity, compliance, and consistency of all market‑facing information. Build long‑term relationships with analysts, investors, and financial press.

  • Narrative Ownership & Messaging Governance

Own and guard the company narrative — ensuring every external and internal communication reinforces our positioning. Serve as the final quality gate for all major outgoing communications (press, investor, corporate, internal). Develop messaging frameworks and toolkits the whole organisation can use. Validate that all communications are consistent, accessible, aligned with strategy, and brand‑appropriate.

  • Strategy, Leadership & Risk Management

Advise the Executive Leadership Team on strategic comms and reputational positioning. Build and lead a high‑performance communications function with multi‑disciplinary capability. Develop and maintain comms policies, processes, and governance. Lead crisis and issues communications planning, ensuring preparedness and rapid, effective response. Track and measure the impact of communications and IR activities, continually improving impact and performance.

  • Broad leadership experience across Corporate Communications, External Comms, Internal Comms, and/or Investor Relations.
  • Exceptional writer and storyteller — able to translate complex ideas into simple, powerful narrative.
  • Skilled in digital communications, social media strategies, and modern audience engagement.
  • Strong understanding of financial communications and investor relations.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
  • Confident advisor to senior executives with strong judgement and commercial awareness.
  • Resilient, pragmatic, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
  • Collaborative, inclusive, personable, and fun to work with.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive, curious, and comfortable operating in a non‑corporate, agile environment.
  • Able to quickly understand the healthcare sector and become a passionate advocate for our mission.
  • Experience in regulated environments beneficial but not essential.
